2. Token purchases are final
Tokens are prepaid usage credits for the TheRealConnect platform. As stated in our Terms of Service (Section 5.3), all token purchases are final and non-refundable, except as provided in Section 4 below. Tokens have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for money. Unused tokens remain available for the life of your account, subject to the Terms of Service.
Because we bill messaging only on confirmed delivery (a token is debited when Meta's WhatsApp Business API reports your message as delivered), you are never charged for messages that fail or are not delivered. Failed sends do not consume tokens.
3. Plan cancellation
Annual plan fees pay for platform access for the plan term. You may cancel renewal at any time from your Billing page or by writing to billing@therealconnect.in. On cancellation:
- Your plan remains active until the end of the current paid term; it simply does not renew.
- Any auto-pay mandate (UPI Autopay / card e-mandate) is revoked at the same time.
- Wallet tokens remain usable until the account is closed.
- Plan fees already paid are not refunded pro-rata.
4. Exceptions — when we do refund
We will refund, to the original payment instrument, within 7 business days of verification:
- Duplicate payment — the same order charged more than once.
- Failed payment captured in error — money debited but neither tokens nor plan access granted, and we are unable to credit your account within 72 hours.
- Service never provisioned — you paid in advance (as our onboarding requires) and we are unable to complete your WhatsApp Business setup or activate your account within 30 days, for reasons not attributable to you (e.g., you fail Meta business verification due to information you provided).
- Statutory requirement — where a refund is required by applicable Indian law or by a final order of a competent authority.
Refunds are processed via Razorpay to the source instrument. Bank posting times (typically 5–7 business days after we initiate) are outside our control. GST already remitted on a refunded invoice is adjusted by credit note.
5. Chargebacks and disputes
If you raise a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first:
- The disputed amount of tokens/credits is immediately frozen in your wallet pending resolution.
- If the chargeback is upheld, the corresponding credits are reversed (the wallet may go negative, recoverable as a debt) and the account may be suspended under ToS §13.
- We respond to all Razorpay dispute notifications with our transaction, delivery, and acceptance records (including your clickwrap acceptance log).
We encourage you to write to billing@therealconnect.in first — most billing issues are resolved within 2 business days.
6. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email billing@therealconnect.in from your registered email with: registered business name, invoice/receipt number, Razorpay payment ID, and the reason. We acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve within 7 business days.
